1. The exclusive right has ended

1.1 Under our agreement dated __________, you had the exclusive right to sell my property at __________, in __________ ("the Property"), until __________.

1.2 That exclusive right ended on __________, and I am not renewing it. I am now free to sell the Property myself or through any agent, and you have no authority to market it or to act for me.

2. The buyers you introduced

2.1 Please send me, within 7 days of this notice, a written list of every prospective buyer you introduced during the exclusive period, with the date each one viewed the Property.

2.2 A sale to a person who is not on that list does not.

2.3 No person you introduce from the date of this notice is your introduction for the purposes of our agreement.

3. Boards, advertisements and keys

3.1 Within 7 days of this notice, please remove every signboard at the Property, withdraw every advertisement of it, return any keys or documents of mine you hold, and confirm to me in writing that you have done so.

4. What this notice does

4.1 This notice records the end of the exclusive period. It does not change any right either of us already has under our agreement.

Personal data

This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses in this document are collected for one purpose: recording the end of the exclusive period and fixing which introductions remain protected. The Owner keeps a copy, and the agent keeps the notice. It may be shown only to the Owner and the agent, and it will not be used for marketing.

If the engagement does not go ahead, the personal data in this document is kept for 90 days from that decision and then erased. If it goes ahead, this record is kept for the term of the engagement plus 12 months and then erased, unless a law requires a particular record to be kept longer.

Consent to the use of personal data in this document may be withdrawn at any time by writing to __________. A request to correct inaccurate data, to erase data once its purpose has ended, or to complain about how it has been handled may be sent to the same address, and will be answered within 30 days.

This document does not collect any Aadhaar number, PAN, bank-account detail or copy of an identity document.
