The guest may use the allocated accommodation personally but does not receive exclusive possession of any separately demised unit. The host retains overall control of the premises and reasonable access for household administration, safety, maintenance and compliance, while respecting the guest's privacy.

This is not a notice arrangement under section 106 of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 because no tenancy is created by this licence.

No clause grants the guest exclusive possession, a leasehold interest, assignable occupation rights or rent-act protection. The parties intend a personal licence under section 52 of the Indian Easements Act, 1882 and will conduct the arrangement consistently with that intention.

PERSONAL DATA NOTICE

This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Personal data in this document is collected only to create and administer the paying-guest licence and the owner-side verification record, administer the accommodation arrangement, communicate about safety and payments, complete owner-side paying-guest/police verification obligations, and retain an evidentiary record.

The record-holder may disclose only the information reasonably needed to the host/owner, authorised accommodation manager, police or public authority for the stated verification purpose, payment provider, emergency contact, or service provider directly involved in administering the accommodation.

If the proposed accommodation does not begin, the record will be retained for 90 days from cancellation and then erased. If occupation begins, the record will be retained for the licence/accommodation period plus 12 months and then erased, except for a record that a law specifically requires to be retained longer.

Consent for future consent-based processing may be withdrawn, and a correction, erasure or grievance request may be made, by writing to __________. The record-holder should acknowledge and respond within 30 days.

Data minimisation: do not store a full Aadhaar number in this document. Use masked Aadhaar or another accepted identity route where verification is needed, and do not collect bank credentials, passwords or unrelated personal information.
