Grievance Redressal and Contact
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. About this page
1.1 This page explains how to contact Kaagazaat, how to make a complaint, and what we will do with it. It covers the website www.kaagazaat.com and the property document drafts we provide for Punjab and Chandigarh.
1.2 Kaagazaat is operated by M/s Sudeep Sachdeva & Associates, a sole proprietorship of Sudeep Sachdeva, whose office address is Office No. A-415, 4th Floor, Tower-A, Bestech Business Towers, Sector 66, Mohali, Punjab 160062.
1.3 Kaagazaat prepares document drafts. It is not a law firm. Our reply to a complaint is not legal advice about your own matter.
2. Who to contact
2.1 Grievance Officer. Send every complaint to the Grievance Officer, including complaints and requests about your personal data. The Grievance Officer also answers questions about how we process your personal data.
| Name and designation | Sudeep Sachdeva, Grievance Officer |
|---|---|
| sudeepsachdeva.associates@gmail.com or customersupport.kaagazaat@gmail.com | |
| Phone | +91 70871 19160 |
| Postal address | M/s Sudeep Sachdeva & Associates, Office No. A-415, 4th Floor, Tower-A, Bestech Business Towers, Sector 66, Mohali, Punjab 160062 |
| Working hours | Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm IST, except public holidays. Email marked "URGENT" in the subject line is watched outside these hours. |
2.2 General questions. For questions that are not complaints, such as how to use the site, email sudeepsachdeva.associates@gmail.com or customersupport.kaagazaat@gmail.com, or call +91 70871 19160 during working hours (Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm IST, except public holidays).
2.3 By post. Address your letter to the Grievance Officer at the postal address above and write "Grievance" on the envelope.
2.4 By phone. If you would rather not write, call +91 70871 19160 during working hours (Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm IST, except public holidays). We will write down your complaint, give you a complaint number, and email or post you a copy of the complaint as we recorded it.
3. We send you codes, but we will never ask you for one
3.1 When you make an account or sign in, www.kaagazaat.com sends you a six-digit code (a one-time password, or OTP) by text message or by email; when you make an account, it sends one of each. The code is for you to type on www.kaagazaat.com yourself. No one from Kaagazaat will ever ask you to tell them a code, or a password, by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email or chat, and we will not ask for one to deal with a complaint.
3.2 We will never ask for your bank, card or UPI details, ask you to pay anyone to handle a complaint, or ask you to install a screen-sharing or remote-access app.
3.3 Type a Kaagazaat code only on www.kaagazaat.com itself, never on another website, in an app or in a reply to a message. Our codes come only by text message from the sender name KAGZAT (your phone may show it with a few letters added, such as VM-KAGZAT), or by email from customersupport.kaagazaat@gmail.com. Our text message always reads "Your OTP to login www.kaagazaat.com/login is", then the code, then "Valid for 10 minutes. Please do not share this code with anyone." A message that sends you to any other website is not from us. When we write to you about anything else, we write from sudeepsachdeva.associates@gmail.com or customersupport.kaagazaat@gmail.com.
3.4 If anyone asks you for a code, or for any of the things in section 3.2, do not give it to them, even if they say they are from Kaagazaat. End the call or chat, and tell us at sudeepsachdeva.associates@gmail.com or customersupport.kaagazaat@gmail.com, or call +91 70871 19160 during working hours. If you have already told someone a code, tell us straight away so that we can secure your account. If you get a code you did not ask for, do not share it: someone may have typed your number or address by mistake, or may be trying to get into your account, and without the code they cannot. Tell us if it keeps happening.
3.5 If you have lost money, call the national cyber crime helpline on 1930, or report it at https://cybercrime.gov.in, as soon as you can.
4. What to put in your complaint
4.1 Please tell us:
- (a) your name, and the mobile number or email address registered with your Kaagazaat account — this is how we find your account (if you have no account, say so);
- (b) how you would like us to reply;
- (c) what your complaint is about (see section 5);
- (d) what happened, when, and where on the site — a page link, or the name of the document draft;
- (e) what you would like us to do.
4.2 Please do not send us:
- (a) your password, an OTP or any verification code;
- (b) bank, card or UPI details;
- (c) your full Aadhaar number, or copies of identity documents;
- (d) a complete copy of a filled-in document draft. If we need to see part of a draft, we will ask for only that part and tell you a safe way to send it.
4.3 To protect your account, we act on a request about an account, or about the personal data in it, only if it comes from the email address on that account, or from someone acting for the account holder under section 4.4.
4.4 If you are writing for someone else — for example, as their nominee — tell us your relationship to them and why you are acting for them. We may ask for proof that you may act for them; if we do, we will tell you exactly what we need and a safe way to send it.
5. What you can complain about
5.1 Your account. For example, you cannot sign in, you think someone else has used your account, or you want to close your account.
5.2 Your personal data. You can ask us to:
- (a) give you access — a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with;
- (b) correct or update it — correct data that is wrong or misleading, complete data that is incomplete, or bring it up to date;
- (c) erase it — we will erase your personal data unless a law requires us to keep it. If we keep anything, we will tell you what we have kept and why. Erasure will usually mean closing your account;
- (d) record a nominee — name one or more people who may exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act yourself. To name a nominee, email the Grievance Officer from the address on your account with the nominee's name, relationship and email or phone number. We will confirm when it is recorded;
- (e) withdraw your consent — stop using personal data that we use on the basis of your consent. Withdrawing consent does not make our earlier use of the data unlawful. If we cannot provide the service without that data, we may have to close your account; we will tell you before we do;
- (f) answer a question about how we process your personal data.
We deal with all of these requests now. Under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, you already have the right to review and correct the information you gave us and to withdraw your consent. The other requests become legal rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 when its relevant provisions come into force; under a government notification of 13 November 2025, that is due in May 2027.
5.3 An error in a document draft. For example, a wrong legal reference, a stamp duty or registration figure that does not match the current rate in Punjab or Chandigarh, a missing clause, or Hindi or Punjabi text that does not match the English. Tell us the name of the draft, the date or version shown on it, the clause or paragraph number, and what you think is wrong. You may copy the words of that clause, with names, addresses and other personal details taken out. We will check the point and tell you what we found and what, if anything, we will change. If you have already signed or registered a document, a change to our draft does not change your document; please speak to an advocate about it.
5.4 Unlawful content or misuse. Tell us if you believe that:
- (a) something on Kaagazaat is unlawful — for example, it infringes your copyright, impersonates you, or shows you in an intimate or sexual way; or
- (b) someone has used Kaagazaat to prepare a false document in your name.
Tell us where it is (a page link or document name), why you believe it is unlawful, and whether you are the person affected or are writing for them. We will tell you what action we have taken. We may not be able to share details of another person's account, except with authorities where the law allows or requires it.
5.5 Billing. We do not charge for any service at present. Before we start charging, we will add details here of how to raise a billing or refund complaint.
5.6 Anything else — for example, a part of the site that does not work, or that is hard to use with a screen reader.
6. Our time limits
6.1 We will keep to these limits:
| What we do | Time limit |
|---|---|
| Acknowledge your complaint and give you a complaint number | Within 24 hours of receiving it |
| Send you our final reply, with our decision and the reasons, on any complaint or request | Within 7 days of receiving it |
| Act on a request to remove unlawful content (section 5.4) | As quickly as possible, and within 3 hours of receiving it |
| Remove or block content that shows you in an intimate or sexual way, or impersonates you, including morphed or computer-generated images | Within 2 hours of receiving your complaint |
6.2 The time limits run from when your complaint reaches us, and include weekends and public holidays.
6.3 For the last two kinds of complaint, write "URGENT" at the start of the subject line so that it reaches the right person at once.
6.4 If we need more information from you, we will ask for it when we acknowledge your complaint.
6.5 Our final reply will explain our decision and the reasons for it, and will tell you where you can go if you are not satisfied (section 8).
6.6 These time limits are at least as short as those set by the laws that apply, or may apply, to us. If a law sets a shorter period for a particular kind of complaint, we will follow that law.
6.7 Separately from a complaint you send us, an authorised government agency may lawfully require us to give information or assistance — for example, for enforcing the law, investigating or prosecuting an offence, or responding to a cybersecurity incident. When that happens, we provide it within 72 hours, as rule 3(1)(j) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 requires. This is a different duty from the time limits in section 6.1, which run only from a complaint you send us.
7. Language
7.1 You can write to us, or speak to us, in English, Hindi or Punjabi.
7.2 We will reply in the language you used, unless you ask us to use another of these three.
8. If you are not satisfied
8.1 Data Protection Board of India. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 sets up the Data Protection Board of India. When the Act's provisions on grievances and complaints come into force (due in May 2027), you may complain to the Board if you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with a grievance about your personal data. The Act requires you to use our grievance process first. We will add the Board's official complaint details to this page when they are available.
8.2 Grievance Appellate Committee. If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision on a complaint under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee at https://gac.gov.in within 30 days of receiving that decision.
8.3 Consumer complaints (paid services only). Kaagazaat does not charge for any service at present. If we start charging, a person who has paid for a service may be a "consumer" under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. They may then contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or 1800-11-4000, or WhatsApp 8800001915), or file a complaint with the appropriate consumer commission through the e-Jagriti portal at https://e-jagriti.gov.in. A consumer complaint must normally be filed within two years of the date on which the cause of action arose.
8.4 Your other rights. Nothing on this page limits any other right or remedy you have under law, including the right to go to court.
9. How we handle your complaint
9.1 We use what you tell us only to deal with your complaint, to protect your account and the service, and to meet our legal obligations.
9.2 Only the people who need to deal with your complaint will see it.
9.3 We keep complaint records for three years after the matter is closed. We then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
10. Changes to this page
10.1 We will update this page when our contact details, our process or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
