After watching my parents and their friends struggle for weeks every time a sale deed, rent agreement, or affidavit was needed in Punjab, I started Kaagazaat in 2026. The idea is simple: every Indian should be able to draft a legally clean document in their own language in under ten minutes, without paying a middleman ₹5,000 for a Word template. 💡 Why we built this
Real estate, succession, and small-business paperwork in India is gated by lawyers, typists, and brokers who hold the templates. We pulled together 280+ generators, calibrated them to Indian state law and stamp-duty rules, and shipped them as a clean four-minute form. The result: documents that the Sub-Registrar accepts on the first try, at one-tenth the cost.
