1. What I permit

1.2 I permit you to advertise the Property __________, until __________, on these channels only:

1.5 Photographs and plans: __________. I confirm that I am entitled to allow photographs and plans of the Property to be published, and you will not publish any photograph I have asked you to remove.

1.6 Occupation: __________ No photograph will show an occupant, identify an occupant's belongings, or show any document, vehicle number or face.

2. What this letter is not

2.1 This letter permits advertising only. It does not appoint you as my agent. It does not authorise you to negotiate or agree a price, sign anything or accept money for me, and it creates no right to commission. If I appoint you to sell or let the Property, I will do so by a separate agreement.

3. Accuracy

3.1 You will describe the Property only in the terms I have approved, and will not state or suggest any approval, amenity, area or possession date I have not given you in writing.

4. Withdrawal and take-down

4.1 I may withdraw this permission at any time by email to you. It ends in any case on __________.

4.2 Within 7 days after it ends, you will remove every advertisement of the Property you placed or caused to be placed, and confirm to me in writing that you have done so.

Personal data

This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses in this document are collected for one purpose: permitting the Property to be advertised and taking the advertisements down when the permission ends. The Owner and the lister each keep a copy of this letter. The Owner's own name and contact details will not appear in any advertisement. It may be shown only to the Owner and the lister, and it will not be used for marketing.

If the engagement does not go ahead, the personal data in this document is kept for 90 days from that decision and then erased. If it goes ahead, this record is kept for the term of the engagement plus 12 months and then erased, unless a law requires a particular record to be kept longer.

Consent to the use of personal data in this document may be withdrawn at any time by writing to __________. A request to correct inaccurate data, to erase data once its purpose has ended, or to complain about how it has been handled may be sent to the same address, and will be answered within 30 days.

This document does not collect any Aadhaar number, PAN, bank-account detail or copy of an identity document.
