ANNEXURE A
AFFIDAVIT OF THE APPLICANT
(To be sworn by the applicant and printed on non-judicial stamp paper of the denomination required by the Estate Office at which this application is filed. GLADA's prescribed conveyance-deed affidavit is printed for execution on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 25, and GMADA's estate application forms carry the same Rs 25 non-judicial panel against the affidavits attached to them, both forms undated and read on 6 September 2026 — so buy Rs 25 unless the counter hands you a form specifying another denomination. Affidavits are chargeable under Article 4 of Schedule I-A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 as applied in Punjab. Buy the paper from a licensed stamp vendor in the deponent's own name; Punjab e-stamp certificates are issued for amounts above Rs 49,999, so a denomination of this size is conventional stamp paper. Swear it before an Oath Commissioner appointed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court or before a Notary appointed under the Notaries Act, 1952. Where the said property stands in joint names, every holder swears a separate affidavit on his or her own paper, and the second is printed at Annexure A-1 below.)

- That I have paid to the Authority the entire consideration money in respect of the said property together with interest and all other dues, aggregating __________ against the total demand of __________, the final payment having been made on __________ vide receipt No. __________, and that nothing is due from me to the Authority as on today.
- That I have applied to the Estate Officer, by the application to which this affidavit is annexed, for the reliefs set out in clause 7 of that application.
- That I undertake to pay the final price or additional price of the said property, including any amount on account of enhancement of the compensation payable for the land comprised in the scheme, and any other sum in respect of the said property, as may be determined and demanded by the Estate Officer from time to time, together with interest, even after the execution and registration of the conveyance deed in my favour, and within the period specified in the demand notice.
- That I accept and agree that if I fail to pay any such amount as and when demanded, the Estate Officer shall be entitled to resume the said property along with any structure raised on it, and to take such other action as is provided by the Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Development Act, 1995 and the rules and regulations made under it, and that I shall have no objection to such action.
- That the said property is free from all encumbrances, charges, liens and litigation, save as expressly disclosed in the application to which this affidavit is annexed, and that I have not transferred or agreed to transfer the said property to any person without the previous permission of the Authority under section 43(7) of the said Act.
- That I shall bear the entire cost of the stamp duty, registration fee, facilitation charges and pasting fee payable on the conveyance deed, and shall make good any deficiency in stamp duty that may be pointed out at any time.
- That the contents of the said application and of this affidavit are true to my knowledge, that nothing material has been concealed, and that I am aware that relief granted on the basis of a false statement is liable to be withdrawn.
