You are the non-agriculturist buyer applying for permission under section 118 of the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, and the Collector needs your own sworn word on whether you have already acquired land in Himachal Pradesh under section 118 before — because permission is capped, and a buyer who already holds land taken under an earlier section 118 order may find that cap works against a further purchase. This affidavit either says you have not, or discloses what you have, so the Collector can weigh the current application correctly. Use it beside `himachal_section_118_permission_application` and the Transferor's own affidavit. Where you are buying jointly with someone else, each buyer swears this affidavit separately.

I, Karan Mehta, son of Late Sh. Ramesh Mehta, resident of H.No. 14, Sector 8, Panchkula, Haryana 134109, PAN AKMPM4521R, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:

That I am the Applicant in a pending application for permission under section 118 of the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, to purchase the land described as Khasra No. 212/1, Mauza Barot, Tehsil Baijnath, District Kangra, admeasuring 0-08-05 hectares (the "Land"), not being an agriculturist within the meaning of that Act.

That I am filing this affidavit in support of that application, to disclose to the Collector whether I have earlier acquired any land in Himachal Pradesh under section 118 of the Act, so that the present application may be considered together with any such earlier acquisition.
