INTERIOR DESIGNER CONSULTANCY AGREEMENT

BETWEEN

__________, of __________ ("the Client"),

AND

__________, of __________ ("the Designer").

1. THE PROJECT

2. DESIGN SERVICES

2.3 The Designer shall exercise the reasonable skill and care expected of a professional interior designer.

3. REVISIONS

3.3 A change in the brief after a stage has been approved, such as a different layout or a different area to be designed, is treated as new work and is agreed in writing, with its fee, before the Designer starts it.

4. FEE AND PAYMENT

4.3 The Designer shall not start the next stage until the payment due for the previous stage has been made.

4.4 The Designer shall not accept any commission, discount or payment from a contractor, vendor or supplier in connection with the project without disclosing it in writing to the Client.

5. OWNERSHIP OF THE DESIGNS

5.2 The Designer is not responsible for any use of the designs for a different premises or a materially different project without the Designer's written consent.

5.3 The Designer may photograph the finished premises and show the design in the Designer's portfolio only with the Client's prior consent.

6. TERMINATION

6.1 Either Party may terminate this Agreement on fourteen days' written notice. On termination, the Client shall pay for the stages completed and the work done on the current stage up to the date of termination, and the Designer shall hand over the drawings and material prepared up to that date, subject to clause 5.

8.1 This Agreement is the entire understanding between the Parties on the services described above.
