Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
1. About this policy
1.1 This policy explains when you can cancel a paid order on www.kaagazaat.com and when you can get your money back. Kaagazaat is operated by M/s Sudeep Sachdeva & Associates, a sole proprietorship of Sudeep Sachdeva, Office No. A-415, 4th Floor, Tower-A, Bestech Business Towers, Sector 66, Mohali, Punjab 160062. GSTIN: 03APYPS4698R1ZD.
1.2 It applies to paid document kits. A document kit is a set of related documents that you pay for once, and download as Word (.docx) files from your account.
1.3 Single documents are free while the free period lasts, so there is nothing to refund on them. If we start charging for single documents, we will update this policy first.
1.4 This policy is part of our Terms of Use and should be read with our Delivery Policy.
2. Cancelling an order
2.1 You can cancel a kit order at any time before you download the first document from it. Cancel by writing to us as section 6 explains.
2.2 Once you have downloaded any document from a kit, the order has been delivered and can no longer be cancelled.
3. Refunds
3.1 Full refund before the first download. If you ask for a refund before any document from the kit has been downloaded, we will refund the full amount you paid.
3.2 No refund after the first download. A document kit is a digital product and it is delivered when you download it. After the first document from a kit has been downloaded, we cannot refund the kit, because the documents have been handed over and cannot be handed back. This does not limit what section 4 gives you.
3.3 A refund is not available because you changed your mind after downloading, because you chose a kit that does not suit your matter, or because a document needs to be adapted to your facts. Our documents are drafts; please read our Disclaimer and take advice from an advocate where you need it.
4. A document that is wrong or defective because of our error
4.1 If a document you downloaded from a kit is defective or wrong because of an error on our side — for example, it does not match the details you entered, a clause is missing or garbled, or the file does not open — tell us. This applies even after the first download.
4.2 We will correct the document and give you the corrected version free of charge. If we cannot correct it, we will refund the full amount you paid for the kit.
4.3 This section does not cover a document that is accurate to the details you entered but that you would now like to change. A kit fixes the property address after the first download, and the names of the parties can be corrected only for a small typing mistake; section 11 of our Terms of Use says more.
5. Stamp duty and e-stamp certificates
5.1 If you ask our office to arrange an e-stamp certificate, the stamp duty is paid to the government, and it is governed by the rules of the stamp authority concerned and not by this policy. We add no margin to it.
5.2 Our service charge for arranging the e-stamp is refundable only if the e-stamp certificate is not issued. If we cannot issue your certificate, we will refund the service charge in full.
5.3 The terms you accept when you ask for stamp paper explain the rest.
6. How to ask
6.1 Email customersupport.kaagazaat@gmail.com, or send a WhatsApp message to +91 70871 19160, with:
- (a) your name, and the mobile number or email address registered with your Kaagazaat account;
- (b) the kit you bought, the date of the order, and the payment reference you were shown or received;
- (c) whether you want to cancel and be refunded, or want a document corrected, and, for a correction, which document and what is wrong.
6.2 Please do not send your password, an OTP, or your bank, card or UPI details. We never need them to cancel an order or refund you.
6.3 We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours of receiving it.
7. How long a refund takes
7.1 We process an approved refund within 5 to 7 working days. It goes back to the payment method you paid with, through Razorpay, our payment partner. We cannot send a refund to any other account or method.
7.2 After we process it, your bank or card issuer may take a little time to show the money. If you have not seen it after that time, write to us and we will help you trace it.
8. If you are not satisfied
8.1 Our Grievance & Contact page explains how to make a complaint and the time limits we keep to.
8.2 A person who has paid for a kit may be a "consumer" under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You may contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or 1800-11-4000, or WhatsApp 8800001915), or file a complaint with the appropriate consumer commission through the e-Jagriti portal at https://e-jagriti.gov.in.
8.3 Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy you have under law.
9. Changes to this policy
9.1 We will update this page when our refund rules change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. A change does not take away a refund you were already entitled to when you paid.
