5. How the Premises may be used
5.1 The Licensee uses the Premises only as a residence, keeps them clean and in good condition, and follows the rules of the society or association, if any. 5.2 The Licensee may not give, share, sub-licence or transfer the Premises or any part of them to anyone else, may not carry on any business there, and may not cause nuisance to neighbours or do anything unlawful. 5.3 The Licensee makes no structural change or alteration without the Licensor’s written consent. 5.4 The Licensor carries out structural and major repairs. The Licensee carries out minor day-to-day repairs, and pays for damage caused by the Licensee or those staying with the Licensee.
6. Police verification
6.1 The Licensee gives the Licensor the identity details the local police station asks for, and the Licensor gives them to the police as the local rules require.
7. Ending the licence early
8. General
8.1 Notices under this Agreement are in writing and are sent to the addresses given at the top of this Agreement, or to a new address a Party has told the other in writing. 8.2 Stamp duty and any registration cost are shared equally by the Parties. 8.3 This Agreement is the whole understanding between the Parties about the Premises and can be changed only in writing signed by both. The courts having jurisdiction over the place where the Premises are situated may decide any dispute under it.
