Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law to use the Platform. By using the Platform you represent that you meet these requirements.

• You register using your Indian mobile number (10 digits).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• One person may hold only one account; creating multiple accounts is prohibited.

You may use the Platform to:

• Generate standard-form legal documents for personal or professional use.
• Download, print, and use generated documents for lawful purposes.
• Manage your own property transaction records.

You must not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Generate documents with false, misleading, or fabricated information.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise Platform outputs without written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Platform's software or data.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or contains malware.

Kaagazaat is a document-drafting tool, not a law firm. Documents generated by the Platform are templates based on standard Indian legal forms. They do not constitute legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using the Platform.

You are strongly advised to have any generated document reviewed by a qualified advocate or registered notary before execution, especially for high-value transactions.

All software, design, templates, and Platform content are the exclusive property of Kaagazaat or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright law.

You retain ownership of the specific personal data you enter. You grant Kaagazaat a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data solely for the purpose of generating your documents and maintaining your account.

The Platform currently offers a free tier. Paid plans, if introduced, will be announced with clear pricing before any charge is applied. We will never charge you without explicit prior consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or if required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Kaagazaat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on generated documents.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date. Continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance.
