2.2 The applicant acts, or intends to act, as an intermediary in the sale or purchase of plots, apartments or buildings in real estate projects, and so applies for registration as a real estate agent.

3. The prescribed form and fee

3.1 This letter covers the application form that the Authority prescribes. That form is to be filled in and submitted on the Authority's own system, or at its office, in the manner the Authority currently requires; it is not reproduced here, and the answers in it are the applicant's own.

The applicant declares that:

5.1 every statement in this application and in the documents enclosed with it is true and complete, and the applicant has concealed nothing the Authority would need to know;

5.3 once registered, the applicant will not facilitate the sale or purchase of any plot, apartment or building in a real estate project that is required to be registered but is not;

5.4 the applicant will keep and preserve the books of account, records and documents that the law requires of an agent, and will show them to the Authority when asked;

5.5 the applicant will not take part in any unfair trade practice, will not take money in its own name for a project, and will give a buyer every piece of information and every document about the project that the law requires an agent to give;

5.6 the applicant will show its registration number in its dealings, advertisements and documents as the law requires;

5.7 the applicant will obey the Act, the rules and regulations made under it and the Authority's directions, and will tell the Authority promptly of any change in the facts stated here, including a change of address or of the persons who run the business; and

5.8 the applicant understands that a false statement may lead to refusal, revocation or penalty under the Act.
