The agreed ending of a property agent's appointment, and what survives it

1. The Owner — Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, son of Harbhajan Singh Sandhu, resident of House No. 1147, Sector 70, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160071, mobile +91 XXXXX XXXXX, email gurpreet.sandhu@example.com ("the Owner").
2. The Agent — Rajinder Kumar Bansal, trading as Bansal Property Consultants, of SCO 22, Phase 3B2, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160059, mobile +91 XXXXX XXXXX, email rajinder@bansalproperty.in, holding real estate agent registration number PBRERA-SAS80-REA0123 ("the Agent").
A. By an agreement dated 2 April 2026 ("the Agency Agreement"), the Owner appointed the Agent in connection with the property at House No. 1147, Sector 70, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160071, in Punjab: A two-storey house on a plot of 250 square yards, with a covered car porch ("the Property").
B. The Owner and the Agent have agreed to end that appointment on the terms below.
1.1 The Agent's appointment ends on 4 April 2026 ("the End Date"). From that date the Agent has no authority to market the Property, show it, negotiate for it, receive money for it, or act for the Owner in any other way.
1.2 Neither party pays the other any compensation for ending the agency before its term.
2.1 The Owner owes the Agent ₹45,000 (Rupees Forty Five Thousand only) for commission already earned, and will pay it on or before 3 April 2026. No other commission has been earned, and none is payable except under clause 3.
