AFFIDAVIT OF FAMILY INCOME FOR SCHOLARSHIP OR FEE CONCESSION
I, Balwinder Singh, S/o Sh. Harbans Singh, resident of Village Dhanas, Chandigarh, being the student named below, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:
- 1. That the student is Simran Singh, studying B.Sc. (Nursing), first year at Government College of Nursing, Sector 11, Chandigarh, and the scholarship or fee concession applied for is: Fee concession for students of low-income families.
- 2. That the total annual income of the family of the student, from all sources, for the year 2025-26, is ₹2,40,000 (Rupees Two Lakh Forty Thousand only).
- 3. That this income is made up as follows: Father's salary Rs 1,80,000; mother's tailoring income Rs 60,000
- 4. That the earning members of the family are: Balwinder Singh (father); Kuldeep Kaur (mother)
- 5. That, apart from the scholarship or concession named in paragraph 1, the student has received or applied for these other scholarships, fee concessions or fee waivers: None
- 6. That the family has no other source of income that is not stated above.
- 7. That I understand that the scheme sets its own income limit and its own proof of income, and that this affidavit supports, and does not replace, any income certificate the scheme requires.
- 8. That I understand that if any statement in this affidavit is found to be false, the scholarship or concession may be withdrawn, and I may be liable to action under law.
VERIFICATION
Verified at Chandigarh on 1 April 2026 that the contents of paragraphs 1 to 8 above are true and correct to my knowledge and belief, that nothing material has been concealed, and that no part of it is false.
