1. THE WORK

1.5 Materials shall be of the make, grade and specification agreed in writing between the Parties. The Owner or the Owner's representative may inspect materials and workmanship at any reasonable time before they are fixed, laid or applied.

1.6 The Contractor shall carry out the Work with competent workers and shall hold any licence, registration or permission that applies to this trade for work of this kind. The finished Work shall be tested or inspected in the Owner's presence before handover.

5.2 The Contractor is solely responsible for the safety of its workmen and for compliance with applicable labour law in respect of their wages, provident fund, employees' state insurance and any welfare cess, and shall keep the Owner indemnified against any claim arising from the Contractor's failure to do so.

6. TERMINATION

6.1 Either Party may terminate this Work Order on a material breach by the other that remains uncured for fifteen days after written notice, without prejudice to any amount already due.

8. GENERAL

8.1 This Work Order is the entire agreement between the Parties on the Work. Any extra or changed work, or any change of time or price, shall be valid only if recorded in writing and signed by both Parties.
