Distinct from the Sponsor Financial Undertaking (Visa), which is the general-purpose version for any beneficiary — this one is written specifically around a child sponsoring a parent, with the relationship and accommodation questions framed accordingly.

AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT

I, Aditya Sharma, resident of 48 Elmwood Drive, Brampton, Ontario L6Y 2H4, Canada, by occupation Software Engineer, employed with Northbridge Technologies Inc., PAN ABCDE1234F, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:

1. That Ramesh Sharma is My father ("my Parent"), who is applying for a visitor visa, specifically X, for Canada, for an intended stay of Up to 6 months per visit.

2. That I undertake to fund the following in connection with my Parent's visit: Return airfare, accommodation, food, local travel, and medical/travel insurance for the duration of the stay

3. That the total amount I undertake to make available is ₹8,00,000 (Rupees Eight Lakh only).

4. That the source of these funds is income from my salaried employment. Specifically, X.

5. That accommodation during the stay is arranged as follows: My parent will stay with me at my address above for the duration of the visit X

6. That the funds referred to above are, and will remain, from my own lawful sources, and I undertake to make them available for the entire duration of my Parent's stay.

7. That this affidavit is sworn to be produced before the visa or immigration authority of Canada, and may be relied upon by that authority.

8. That the contents of this affidavit are true and correct to my knowledge and belief, that no part of it is false and that nothing material has been concealed therefrom.
