SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH AN IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT

1. THE WORK

1.2 The Consultant will do the work with reasonable skill and care, and will tell the Client about progress and any query from the authority within a reasonable time.

2. THE CONSULTANT'S LICENCE

2.1 The Consultant states that it holds the following licence or registration for the services in this Agreement, and will show the original to the Client on request: __________

3.3 The Consultant will give the Client a written receipt for every payment, and no payment is due or counted unless receipted.

4. REFUNDS

5. NO GUARANTEE

5.1 The decision on any visa or immigration application belongs to the authority, not to the Consultant. The Consultant has not promised and does not guarantee that a visa will be granted, or any job, admission or outcome.

6. THE CLIENT'S DUTIES

6.1 The Client will give true and complete information and genuine documents, including any earlier refusal, and will not ask the Consultant to file anything false.

6.2 The Client consents to the Consultant sharing the Applicant's information with the authority and with others only so far as the application needs.

7. THE CONSULTANT'S DUTIES

7.1 The Consultant will not file a forged or false document or statement, will not conceal any fact from the authority that the application requires to be disclosed, and will not pay or promise any bribe or improper benefit on the Client's behalf.

7.2 The Consultant will keep the Client's papers and information confidential and will give the Client a copy of everything filed on the Applicant's behalf.

8. THE CLIENT'S ORIGINAL PAPERS

8.1 The Consultant will take the Client's original documents only against a written receipt listing them, will keep them safe, and will return them on the Client's request, and in any case when this Agreement ends.

9. ENDING THE AGREEMENT

9.1 Either party may end this Agreement by written notice. On ending, the Client pays only for the stages completed up to that date, according to the fee schedule above, and the Consultant returns the balance of any fee paid for stages not done, within the time in clause 4.3.

10. DISPUTES

10.2 Nothing in this Agreement stops the Client from complaining to the authority that licenses or regulates the Consultant, to the police, or to a consumer forum, or removes any right the Client has under the law.

11. GENERAL

11.1 This Agreement is the whole agreement between the parties on the work described, and a change to it must be in writing and signed by both.
