Still to answer

25 answers are still to come.

Nothing is amiss in what you have written. The document is simply not finished, and the draft marks each gap where an answer will go.

A calendar date — the day, the month and the year. Dates in a document like this are read against one another, so a date typed here can change what another date is allowed to be.

For example: 10 November 2026

For example: Chandigarh

For example: Jaspreet Kaur Sandhu

What is your address?Needed

A number somebody can be reached on. Ten digits is the usual Indian form, and a country code in front of it is fine if you want it there.

For example: +91 98760 12345

An email address somebody actually reads. Notices under a document like this can be sent to it, so a working one matters more than a tidy one.

For example: jaspreet.sandhu@example.com

In what capacity do you hold the account or facility?Needed

For example: Punjab Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd

What is its address?Needed
What kind of lender is it?Needed

For example: Sector 35-C branch

For example: savings account ending 4471

The wrong in short, such as a refund not credited, a charge wrongly levied, a loan closure not recorded, a cheque not honoured.

A long answer. Several lines are fine, and a break you make between paragraphs is the break the document keeps.

For example: A refund of a failed card payment of 8,400 rupees was debited on 3 September 2026 but never credited back, despite the bank's promise to reverse it in seven days.

The facts in plain terms with dates and amounts: what you did, what the entity did or failed to do.

A long answer. Several lines are fine, and a break you make between paragraphs is the break the document keeps.

For example: On 3 September 2026 I paid an online bill with the bank's debit card. The payment failed but 8,400 rupees left my account. The bank's helpline gave me a reference on 5 September and said the money would return in seven days. It has not.

An amount in rupees. Commas and a ₹ sign are both fine — write it the way you would write it anywhere else, and the document is given the tidy form of it.

For example: 8400

A calendar date — the day, the month and the year. Dates in a document like this are read against one another, so a date typed here can change what another date is allowed to be.

For example: 12 September 2026

For example: email to the branch manager and a complaint on the bank's app

For example: The bank gave complaint reference number PMC/2026/117284.

What was its answer?Needed

A calendar date — the day, the month and the year. Dates in a document like this are read against one another, so a date typed here can change what another date is allowed to be.

For example: 2 October 2026

In a sentence or two; leave blank if it never replied.

A long answer. Several lines are fine, and a break you make between paragraphs is the break the document keeps.

For example: It said the amount was already refunded, but showed no proof of the credit.

From which date do your 90 days run?Needed
Is the same grievance before any court, Commission or arbitrator?Needed

The remedy in plain terms, such as credit the amount, reverse the charge, correct the record or reply in writing.

A long answer. Several lines are fine, and a break you make between paragraphs is the break the document keeps.

For example: To credit 8,400 rupees to my account with interest from 3 September 2026, to reverse the charges levied on that amount, and to give me a written explanation.

An amount in rupees. Commas and a ₹ sign are both fine — write it the way you would write it anywhere else, and the document is given the tidy form of it.

For example: 5000

For example: the cost of travel to the branch on four days and the time lost

Number each paper: your statement, your complaint to the entity, its reply, your messages, and any receipt or reference.

A long answer. Several lines are fine, and a break you make between paragraphs is the break the document keeps.

For example: 1. Statement of account for September 2026. 2. My email of 12 September 2026 and the app complaint. 3. The bank's acknowledgement, reference PMC/2026/117284. 4. Card payment slip of 3 September 2026.

For example: Kuldip Singh Sandhu

An email address somebody actually reads. Notices under a document like this can be sent to it, so a working one matters more than a tidy one.

For example: kuldip.sandhu@example.com

Which consent statement should print?Needed

The live draft

The draft, as it stands

This is the whole document, not a sample of it. It is rewritten every time you change an answer.

A long blank line — __________ — stands wherever an answer has not been given. It is left that visible on purpose, so an unfinished document cannot be mistaken for a finished one.

No answer has been given, so every place a detail belongs is standing blank. The shape of the document is worth reading even now.

VERIFICATION

Verified at __________ on __________ that the contents of paragraphs 1 to 8 of this complaint are true to the Complainant's own knowledge, that nothing material has been concealed, and that the papers listed in the Annexure are true copies of what the Complainant holds.

LEGAL BASIS

Punjab: The Reserve Bank - Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2026, in force from 1 July 2026, lets a customer of a regulated entity complain to the Reserve Bank's Ombudsman about a deficiency in service. It covers commercial banks, regional rural banks, co-operative banks with deposits of 50 crore rupees or more, NBFCs with assets of 100 crore rupees or more, non-bank prepaid payment instrument issuers and credit information companies, and it excludes housing finance companies, whose complaints escalate to the National Housing Bank. The customer must first complain to the regulated entity; if it rejects the complaint, or does not reply within 30 days, the customer may file with the Ombudsman within 90 days. There is no monetary ceiling on the dispute. The Ombudsman decides the complaint, and a person aggrieved by the decision can take it to the appellate authority the scheme names. The scheme runs alongside the ordinary remedies: a customer who prefers the civil court, or a consumer complaint to the District Commission under section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, may go there (the Act's remedy is in addition to other laws under section 100), and the civil court's decree is appealed to the District Judge or to the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The complaint therefore asks for a statement that the same grievance is not already pending before a court, a Commission or an arbitrator.

Chandigarh: The Reserve Bank - Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2026 applies to a customer in the Union Territory on the same terms: the complaint to the regulated entity first, the 30 days it has to reply, the 90 days to file with the Ombudsman after a rejection or silence, no monetary ceiling, and no coverage of housing finance companies, whose complaints escalate to the National Housing Bank. The Ombudsman decides the complaint, with an appeal to the appellate authority the scheme names. The scheme runs alongside the ordinary remedies: the civil court at Chandigarh, with an appeal to the District Judge, Chandigarh, or the Punjab and Haryana High Court, and a consumer complaint to the District Commission serving the Union Territory under section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, a remedy that is in addition to other laws under section 100. The complaint asks for a statement that the same grievance is not already pending elsewhere.

Reading costs nothing. Keeping a copy needs an account.

The opening of the draft is on this page as you answer it. Once every answer is in, the button below opens the whole draft, watermarked — still without an account. Printing it, or keeping a clean copy, is where an account is asked for. That is the whole arrangement.

A kept copy has to belong to somebody, and that is the reason for the account. There is nothing further to it.
