कब ज़रूरत पड़ती है

A tenant asks the landlord for a short No Objection Certificate confirming the tenant actually resides at the rented premises, to support a passport application, an Aadhaar address update, a bank's KYC/address-verification process, or a similar requirement that asks for the landlord's written consent alongside proof of tenancy. This letter is a confirmation of occupancy and consent to its use as address proof — it is not a tenancy agreement, and does not itself create or extend any tenancy right; it simply lets the landlord's own signature support the tenant's application.
