SUBJECT: Objection to challan no. CH2610001234 dated 1 April 2026 against vehicle PB10 AB 1234
Sir / Madam,
- 1. The challan. Challan no. CH2610001234 dated 1 April 2026 has been issued against the vehicle bearing registration number PB10 AB 1234, stating the offence of: Crossing the stop line at a red light, at Sector 17/18 light point, Chandigarh.
- 2. My objection. I, Sandeep Kaur, of House No. 120, Phase 5, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, do not accept this challan and do not admit the offence stated. My ground is: I was not the person driving the vehicle at that time.
- 3. The facts. On the date stated I was in Ludhiana at a family function; my car was parked at home. The photograph with the challan shows a car of a different make.
- 4. What I ask. I request you to cancel the challan. I also ask for a copy of the record, notice or photograph on which the challan is based, so that I can answer it.
- 5. Time. This objection is made within the time allowed on the challan, as far as I understand it. If any day has been lost, I ask that it be excused, because I am objecting as soon as I could. Please tell me in writing the next date and place of hearing, and what to do if the challan has gone to a court.
- 6. Enclosed: Copy of the challan; copy of the RC; hotel bill dated the same day; receipt of the earlier payment.
