Issuance of a no due certificate (NDC) for an Estate Office loan
Owners who took a loan from the Estate Office against a Chandigarh property and want a no due certificate for that loan.
Issued by: Estate Office, Chandigarh Administration
The form itself is in English, exactly as the issuing office prints it.
How to fill it in
- Download the set and print it. Fill in the printed blanks by hand, in clear block letters, with a blue or black pen.
- The application (Annexure-1) is addressed to the Estate Officer, U.T., Chandigarh. Fill in the blanks it prints: the property or plot number, the sector or phase, the share, and the other details it asks for.
- The checklist asks for: the application signed by the owners, with the property and loan file numbers (Annexure-1), and a self-attested photocopy of photo ID. If a GPA / SPA / Sub-GPA is used, a certified copy of it and the affidavit in Annexure-2 are added.
- Fill in the affidavit and other annexures only where your case needs them. Where an annexure is an affidavit-cum-indemnity bond, it is to be sworn before the notary or magistrate the checklist names, with the witnesses it asks for, on the stamp paper value printed on it.
- The checklist adds extra papers if the application is made through a GPA / SPA / Sub-GPA, or by a partnership firm or a company. Attach those only if they apply to you.
- The checklist’s notes say: documents already in the Estate Office records need not be submitted again if you point them out; a document prepared outside India must be embossed by the Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration; and false information leads to rejection, so that you must apply afresh.
- Where it goes: the checklist is for documents to be uploaded or verified at the counter. The Estate Office is at the Town Hall Building, Sector 17C, Chandigarh.
- Sign where the form asks you to, check that no blank is left empty, and keep a photocopy for yourself.
