How to fill it in
- Download the form and print it. Fill it in by hand, in clear block letters, with a blue or black pen.
- This is a short letter to the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, in Punjabi, asking for a trade licence. In the first sentence write what business you run, and the year for which you want the licence.
- In the same sentence, the form says you do the business as "he" or "she" (ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ/ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ), and that last year's licence was made or was not made (ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ/ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ). Strike out the option that does not apply to you in each pair.
- At the bottom, fill in your name, your father's name and your address.
- Where it goes: ask at the Municipal Corporation office in Mohali which counter takes this form. The Corporation's website also lists some of these services as online applications, so ask which route it wants.
- Sign where the form asks you to, check that no blank is left empty, and keep a photocopy for yourself.
