Affidavit for permission to mortgage (CHB)

How to fill it in
- Download the form and print it. Fill it in by hand, in clear block letters, with a blue or black pen.
- Fill in the blanks the form prints: Name of the applicant, Father's / husband's name, Correspondence address, Dwelling unit number, Sector, Bank with which the property is to be mortgaged and the others.
- Attach with it: Judicial stamp paper of ₹5 or more, attested by a Notary Public / Executive Magistrate.
- Where it goes: Attach it to the application at the Reception Counter, Chandigarh Housing Board. Attest it before a Notary Public or Executive Magistrate; it goes on judicial stamp paper of ₹5 or more.
- Official time limit: 25 working days for the whole application (CHB Citizens' Charter, section 3.8).
- Sign where the form asks you to, check that no blank is left empty, and keep a photocopy for yourself.
