Form 32: application for transfer of a vehicle bought at public auction

When you have purchased or acquired a vehicle in a public auction conducted by or on behalf of the government, you apply in Form 32 to the Registering Authority (the RTO) to have the ownership transferred to your name. The form refers to the documents required under sub-rule (1) of rule 57, which you enclose; ask the RTO for the exact list. A note on the form says that after the registered owner's death the ownership passes to the nominee.

Issued by: Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (Parivahan), under the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989

The form itself is in English, exactly as the issuing office prints it.
