GAP YEAR AFFIDAVIT

I, Ishaan Chopra, S/o Sh. Rakesh Chopra, resident of House No. 88, Sector 40-B, Chandigarh, holding passport number N4567890, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:

1. That I completed Senior Secondary (Class XII), CBSE Board, after which there was a gap from 1 April 2026 to 2 April 2026 before continuing my education.

2. That the reason for this gap was preparing for competitive or entrance examinations.

3. That during this period, I was engaged as follows: Prepared for and appeared in the IELTS examination and a private-sector job aptitude test; worked part-time at a family-run retail business from March to October 2025 to gain work experience and save towards tuition costs

4. That I am now applying to University of Adelaide, Australia, for Bachelor of Information Technology, and that the gap referred to above did not arise from any disciplinary action, criminal proceeding, or similar adverse cause.

5. That this affidavit is sworn to be produced before the visa or consular authority of Australia, the admitting institution, or such other authority as may require it, and may be relied upon by that authority.

6. That the contents of this affidavit are true and correct to my knowledge and belief, that no part of it is false and that nothing material has been concealed therefrom.
