RECITALS
A. The Owner controls the parking area described below and is entitled to license its use.
B. The Charging Operator installs and runs electric-vehicle charging stations and wishes to do so in that area.
C. The Owner has agreed to license the Bays to the Charging Operator for that purpose on the terms of this Licence.
NOW THIS LICENCE WITNESSES as follows.
- 1. THE LICENCE
1.1 The Owner grants the Charging Operator a non-exclusive licence, for the term, to use six marked bays in the ground-level parking at the north corner of the complex at SCO 11, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh, with the adjoining wall space for the charger cabinet and the cable route to the electrical room, at Chandigarh, in the State of Punjab (the "Bays"), comprising 6 parking bays, to install, operate and maintain two 60 kW DC fast chargers and four 7.4 kW AC chargers (the "Chargers") and the cabling, switchgear, signage and equipment that go with them (together the "Station").
1.2 This is a licence, not a lease. It gives the Charging Operator no exclusive possession of, or interest in, the land or building, and the Owner keeps control of the premises and may use the rest of them as it wishes. The Bays stay in the Owner's possession and the Charging Operator uses them only for the Station.
1.3 The chargers shall be open to the public, subject to the Owner's entry and security rules. The Chargers shall be available 24 hours a day, every day. The Bays are for electric vehicles that are charging; the Owner shall keep other vehicles out of them by marking and, where it can, enforcement.
1.4 The Owner confirms that it owns the premises or has the right to grant this licence, that nothing in any lease, loan, allotment or society rule stops it, and that it has told its tenants and occupants where that is needed.
- 2. TERM AND INSTALLATION
2.1 The term is 5 years from 1 April 2026, unless ended earlier under this Licence, and may be renewed by a written agreement. The Charging Operator shall install the Station and open it within 120 days of the start date, extended by any delay in approvals or the electricity connection that is not its fault.
2.2 The Charging Operator shall, at its cost, obtain every approval, licence and registration needed to install and run the Station, including electrical, fire-safety, municipal and any approval needed to operate a public charging station, and shall give the Owner copies on request. The Owner shall sign promptly any application only the Owner can sign.
