Subject: Request to change the EMI debit date on Loan Account No. X from the 2nd to the 10th of each month
Sir / Madam,
- I am Rohit Anil Deshmukh, residing at X. This letter concerns my Home Loan bearing Loan Account No. X with you. This is a joint loan with Sneha Rohit Deshmukh, who is a co-borrower and who has signed this letter with me.
- The sanctioned amount is ₹45,00,000 (Rupees Forty Five Lakh only). The EMI is ₹38,470 (Rupees Thirty Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Seventy only) and it is presently debited on the 2nd of each month. The account is regular and I intend to keep it that way, which is the reason for this letter.
- My request. Please change the EMI debit date on this account from the 2nd of each month to the 10th of each month, with effect from the instalment falling due in December 2026.
- Why. I am making this request because my salary is now credited later. My monthly income is credited on or about the 7th of each month, so the present debit date falls before the money reaches my account. From October 2026 my employer credits salary on the 7th of each month instead of the last working day. The 2nd debit therefore falls five days before I am paid.
- If the 10th is not an available date in your EMI cycle for this product, please allot the nearest available date after it and tell me that date in writing before you make the change. I would rather have a workable date than a rejected application.
- Nothing else is to change. Please keep the EMI amount, the rate of interest, the tenor and every other term of the loan exactly as they are, save only for the interim interest dealt with in paragraph 9. If the change you are able to make would alter the EMI, the rate or the tenor in any way, please do not process it — write to me first with the details and let me decide.
- The mandate. EMI on this account is collected through the NACH mandate registered against my account with State Bank of India, Erandwane Branch ending 4417, bearing UMRN X. I understand that the mandate will have to be amended, or cancelled and freshly registered, for the new date. Please tell me which route you follow, and send me whatever form you need signed. I will sign it and return it the same week, and I will sign in the same form as the signature registered with the debit bank.
