AFFIDAVIT OF NO PUCCA HOUSE (PRADHAN MANTRI AWAS YOJANA)

Affidavit date: 1 April 2026

I, Rajinder Singh, son of Sh. Harbans Singh, aged 38 years, resident of House No. 214, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh 160036, do hereby solemnly affirm and state on oath as follows:

  1. 1. That I am applying for an interest subsidy on a home loan under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
  1. 2. That the house, flat or plot to be bought, built or improved with this assistance is: A 2-bedroom flat at Sector 82, SAS Nagar (Mohali). The loan is sought from Punjab National Bank, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Application or account reference: X.
  1. 3. That my household consists of the following persons: Wife: Sukhpreet Kaur, 35; son: Arjun Singh, 9 (unmarried).
  1. 4. That neither I nor any member of my household owns a pucca house, in whole or in part, anywhere in India, in any name, whether alone or jointly with others.
  1. 5. That my household at present lives at: We live in a rented flat at Sector 40-C, Chandigarh.
  1. 6. That the annual income of my household is ₹6,00,000 (Rupees Six Lakh only). This is supported by: Income-tax return for the last assessment year and salary slips.
  1. 7. Earlier assistance: No member of my household has earlier received central or state government assistance for buying or building a house.
  1. 8. That I shall tell the lender and the concerned authority at once if any of these facts changes before the assistance is released, and I understand that assistance obtained on a false statement may be recovered and may expose me to legal action.

VERIFICATION

Verified at Chandigarh on 1 April 2026 that the contents of paragraphs 1 to 8 of this affidavit are true and correct to my knowledge and belief, that no part of it is false and that nothing material has been concealed. Sworn or affirmed before: Notary Public, Chandigarh.
