To record another person as a joint member matching an approved joint ownership, family or co-purchaser interest — not an associate member or nominee; status follows the Act, Rules and bye-laws. S.15 (who may be a member) and s.17 (rights after payment), Punjab Co-operative Societies Act, 1961; Chandigarh: same Act, 1963 Rules. Both the primary and joint member sign.
