You are a student and need your school, college or university to certify that you are a bona fide student, or to give you a character certificate, for a passport, a scholarship, a bank account, an internship, an exam form, a visa or a similar purpose. This is your own application to the principal or registrar, naming the certificate, the purpose and the number of copies.

Not for a certificate you write about yourself (use the Self-Declaration Character Affidavit). Not for a Transfer or School Leaving Certificate (use the Transfer or School Leaving Certificate Request).
