Respected Sir/Madam,
I make this complaint to the Punjab State Commission for Women.
1.1 I am Jasleen Kaur. I state that I live abroad, and my spouse is in India.
2.1 I was married to the Respondent on 1 April 2026 at Jalandhar, Punjab. The marriage is registered, as follows: Marriage Registrar, Mohali, Certificate No. 1234.
2.2 There are children of the marriage: A daughter, Simran, aged 6.
3.1 Since 2 April 2026 the Respondent has left me and has not lived with or supported me. The facts are these:
My husband returned to Canada in March 2023 saying he would send for me. He stopped replying to my messages in June 2023 and has sent no money since.
What I have tried. My father and I met his parents twice in 2023; they said they have no contact with him.
My belongings and gifts. Jewellery and household articles given at the wedding remain with his parents in Ludhiana.
Earlier complaints. Complaint to the Women Cell, Mohali, Diary No. 456, on 5 January 2024.
