When you need it

You cannot attend an annual or special general meeting of your Society or RWA and want someone to attend in your place. A proxy is allowed only where the Society's registered bye-laws allow it — many co-operative societies do not, and vote in person only.

Read your bye-laws before you hand this form to anyone; if proxies are barred, this form has no effect. Not for giving someone power over your flat or your money — that is a power of attorney.

PROXY FORM FOR A GENERAL MEETING

I, Gurdeep Singh, a member of Green Park Residents Welfare Association and the holder of Flat No. 304, appoint Navneet Kaur of Flat No. 210, Green Park, Sector 21, Panchkula, my sister, as my proxy to attend the annual general meeting of the Society to be held on 1 April 2026, and any adjournment of it.

The proxy is authorised to attend, speak and vote for me as the proxy thinks fit.

CONDITIONS

1. This proxy is valid only if the Society's bye-laws allow a member to be represented by a proxy at this meeting. If they do not, it has no effect.
2. If I attend the meeting myself, this proxy ends and I will act for myself.
3. The proxy will carry a photo identity and a copy of this form to the meeting, and hand the copy to the Secretary before the meeting begins.
